Customer’s request
The customer produces wooden sheets. These sheets undergo a number of treatments. Our customer has 2 production lines for this purpose. The customer's request was therefore to provide flexible infeed and outfeed for these lines, as well as pallet stacking units, depending on the type. Their special custom solution also runs along the same lines, but had to be stacked in a separate place.
Our realisation
Given the desired high flexibility, we opted for a Fanuc robot on a 20 m track. This track allows the robot to easily reach all necessary locations to place the sheets that come from the sawing line, into the 2 sanding lines. After sanding, the robot also stacks the sheets on pallets. An entry and exit station makes the system super flexible towards customisation. This way, our customer can also use this robot to transport sheets from the sawing line to the sanding line.
