Continuous in- and outfeed
We provide several machines at both the infeed and outfeed of the needle felt production machines that provide a continuous supply and discharge of fabric. For fabric supply, we can offer different types of unwinding units to add one or more fabrics to the process in a controlled manner.
We generally build accumulators at line outfeeds that buffer the fabric during roll change. After longitudinal cutting, the fabric is wound and cut to length semi- or fully automatically. Good web tension control and controlled roll compression on the winding unit are the typical features of Matthys line outfeeds. The wound (or stacked) products can also be weighed, packed and discharged, if necessary.
