Customer’s request
The customer required automatic production of very hard-wound rolls from the fabric of 2 high-speed geotextile lines (35 m/min). The rolls had to be automatically packed during the process, and the number of forklift movements had to be reduced.
Our realisation
We fitted both lines with our automatic winding unit for geotextiles. The recipe-controlled winding unit can produce extremely hard rolls by means of pre-tension control, a push cylinder and specially coated winding rollers, which greatly reduces transport costs.
The automatic packaging machine selects the right film width and length based on the length and diameter of the roll to be packed. This machine can smoothly process different roll lengths and roll diameters interchangeably.
At the end of the line, the packed rolls are automatically stacked and bonded together by layer. Once all of the rolls have been added into a pack, this pack is automatically discharged. The dimensions of the pack rolls are adjustable. By bundling the rolls, all rolls can be taken away together with one forklift movement, which is much faster than loading a truck roll by roll.
